In collaboration with Story Sells, I worked with the Georgia Public Defender Council (GPDC) to identify a brand message that spoke to the needs and desires of the organization’s target audience. Specifically, GPDC needed to communicate to people who were recently arrested that:
- They qualify for high quality legal defense, regardless of ability to pay
- Public defenders are available to work on their case
- Public defenders are highly qualified criminal law attorneys
- Your lawyer cares about you and the impact of this case on your life
- You will get the best possible legal defense
- You’re a person of value who deserves support
My role in this project included:
- Deep dive discovery with stakeholders
- Brand message consulting
- All copywriting for the organization’s website
- Adjustments to the site’s information architecture to improve user experience
